FoneKey, Inc. is proud to announce the debut of our technology here at HITEC 2006 in Minneapolis. We are thankful to the organizers for putting the conference together and for choosing us to be part of their amazing Guestroom 2010 Technology Pavilion.
The FoneKey technology has the potential to create an entirely new hospitality market sector that merges the guestroom access security segment with the rest of the components of guest services, such as reservation, check in / check out, billing, housekeeping, guestroom environment control and detailing, etc. All of this under the control of the guest's own mobile phone or handheld device.
It is not news that today's mobile phones are not just capable of performing the routine telecommunication needs, but also various functions of conventional media, business transactions and remote operability. No single gadget in the history of mankind has penetrated human life as fast as the mobile phones and FoneKey technology takes advantage of this. FoneKey integrates the services of two major and very diverse industry sectors into one major multi-billion dollar industry. These industries are the electronic lock manufacturing and mobile phone services. The end result is an incredible step in the improvement of guest convenience within the hospitality industry, which we believe will lead to brand loyalty.
The technology behind the Company's products cleverly utilizes already available resources, components and vastly popular mobile phone network to achieve FoneKey functionality. The product has been designed to allow quick customization and integration with the Hotel's existing hardware and software infrastructure. We plan to discuss co-branding with major lock manufacturers and forming alliances with cell phone manufacturers and carrier services leading to options for private labeling for the individual hotel chains. All of this has drastically reduced the development time and has resulted in our ability to alpha test first FoneKey product back in March 2006.
We have experienced an excellent response to our technology here at the conference justifying the decision of the Guestroom 2010 selection committee to feature our technology and to proclaim that after a comprehensive global search of the industry's most innovative technologies they were impressed with what FoneKey had to offer.
